igus Introduces E-Z Chain for Fast, Simple Cable Installation
The E-Z Chain split crossbars are flexible, but retain their shape and strength to provide secure protection in conjunction with maintenance-free accessibility. This is achieved through a unique crossbar design, which consists of two, memory-retaining, engineered plastic pieces.
The E-Z Chain style of cable carrier is available in a wide range of sizes, including the System E04 with an inner height and width of only one-fifth of an inch. This tiny carrier is ideal for applications such as measuring apparatus, medical engineering, electronic equipment, assembly robots and miniature power supplies to any machinery.
On the other end of the spectrum, a large E-Z Chain, the System E300, has an inner with ranging from 1.89 to 2.95 inches. This Energy Chain is ideal for light duty applications such as medical devices, plotters, test fixtures and any application requiring frequent access to cables.
Even a Triflex® version of the E-Z carrier is available. E-Z Triflex carriers are ideal for robotic applications and other space-restricted, multi-axis applications where maximum freedom of movement and minimum assembly time are critical. The Triflex line of carriers is designed for three-axis movement.
