Johnson Controls selects Industrial Controls as Integrated Supply Partner
March 13, 2011 – Industrial Controls Distributors LLC was awarded the designation as an Integrated Supply Partner (ISP) by Johnson Controls, Inc.
Johnson Controls’ ISP’s are rigorously screened and carefully selected based on a variety of “best in class” criteria. Industrial Controls’ continuous growth, progressive approach to the market, large and diverse inventory, excellent technical support, and large geographical footprint weighed heavily in the decision-making process. “We're excited to have Industrial Controls join our Integrated Supplier Program. ICD has been a key distributor for Johnson Controls for many years. Joining the ISP program broadens our relationship and positions ICD to better support the Johnson Controls Systems and Service branches,” said Christian Eichmann, Director of Product Sales for Systems North America at Johnson Controls.
Both companies have enjoyed a long and prosperous business relationship on the East Coast and in the Midwest but as Johnson Controls’ newest ISP for their Building Efficiency business unit, Industrial Controls will be a preferred supplier for many of Johnson’s product needs on a national basis. Ron Mackiewicz, Regional Sales Vice President of Industrial Controls, stated, “Both companies will benefit because operational integration will simplify and expedite the purchasing, invoicing and product fulfillment functions, saving both entities time and money.”
Industrial Controls, headquartered in Wanamassa, NJ has 19 offices, as well as three regional distribution centers and services numerous industries throughout the United States.
