Siemens launches ‘Measuring Success’ tour
June 28, 2011 – Siemens announced its Measuring Success tour – a 53-foot mobile showcase featuring a broad portfolio of process instrumentation, process analyzers and process automation products and solutions.
“Our goal is to be a full-service and long-term partner with our customers, using our experience and knowledge to work together in solving challenges, reducing costs, minimizing risks and increasing productivity and profitability,” says Raj Batra, president of Siemens Industry Automation Division. “The tour is a testament to our customer-first attitude and will bring products and solutions to our customers’ doorsteps.”
Siemens Process Instrumentation and Analytics includes measurement and control products including level, pressure, temperature and flow transmitters, valve instrumentation, regulators and relays, process protection instruments, weigh feeders, belt scales, analytical system integration, gas chromatographs, continuous gas analyzers and laser analytics. These products can be found supporting a host of industries like water, power generation, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, glass, cement and metals.
In addition to showing a broad and innovative portfolio of products, the showcase highlights Siemens Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) with a comprehensive display that demonstrates how information can be shared seamlessly to improve customer operations. The measuring success showcase features a control room, process area, instrument shop and analytics shelter all based on Siemens technology. The tour will travel across the country, engaging customers with Siemens process measurement experts.
Engaging the process automation community with Siemens expertise is also the point of the recently launched ‘Measuring Success’ blog at https://blogs.siemens.com/measuringsuccess. The Siemens ‘Measuring Success’ blog features weekly articles from Process Instrumentation and Analytics specialists addressing real-time concerns within the process industry. The blog is also designed to allow feedback from end users, opening a dialog of two-way communication for problem solving, technical issues and best practices from industry experts.
Visit the blog to join in the conversation, and learn how Siemens Process Instrumentation and Analytics products and solutions can improve safety, optimize production, reduce life cycle cost and maintenance, minimize environmental impact and increase profits.
