Yokogawa Opens Oil & Gas Demo room in Texas
The center will show integration of the Stardom RTU unit, the CENTUM CS 3000 Distributed Control System, the ProSafe-RS Integrated Safety System, PRM (Plant Resource Manager) asset management software, Exaquantum process information management system and FastTools SCADA software. Detailed demonstrations of remote wireless well head control, pipeline monitoring, gas separation and offshore control solutions are also available.
We made a commitment to our customers and the industry to provide technology-oriented solutions that would help them understand and evaluate the options they have in meeting their specific needs, said Steve Lazok, Technical Solutions Support Manager. This demo room introduced design challenges because of the broad depth within the oil and gas industry segment. However, we believe we have achieved a realistic environment to showcase all the diverse applications from pipeline corrosion monitoring to FPSO safety integration as well as the flexibility and efficiency of Yokogawa.
