		Scientific Technologies completes merger with Omron Corporation - 10/02/06 STI shareholders will receive $10.67 per share in cash as a result of the merger, and STI will cease to be a publicly-traded company. Omron acquired STI's Safety Products Group (SPG) business will operate under the name of Omron Scientific Technologies. 		Safety interlock switch from STI provides tamper-resistant operation - 07/20/06 The MFS stand-alone safety interlock switch requires magnetic and ferroresonant signals to close the safety signals, making this switch highly resistant to tampering.

		Safety interlock switch provides two million actuations - 06/07/06 The T4012 features a compact, glass-filled NEMA 6 thermoplastic housing making it suitable for use in most applications, including water washdown environments. When used with the optional stainless steel actuator, these switches are designed to provide a minimum of two million actuations in demanding application environments.

		STI's Floor Stands Mount Perimeter Access Guards, Safety Light Curtains - 05/18/06 Light Duty Floor Stands are ideal for mounting safety light curtains and Perimeter Access Guarding Device. The stands are available in sizes ranging from 40 to 56 in. Mounting brackets and concrete mounting bolts are included, and no additional accessories are required for mounting. Heavy Duty Floor Stands are also available.

		STI Interlock Switch Monitors Read-Heads for Category Four Safety System - 04/20/06 The EC-S2 individually monitors one or two read heads to provide a category 4 system. The unit may be combined with an EC-S4 Control Unit to guard applications with up to six doors while continuing to satisfy category 4 requirements according to EN954-1. These units are CE marked, BG approved, and UL and C-UL listed.

		STI's Sockets with LED Indicators Enhance Force Guided Relay Operation - 03/16/06 FGR-M1 Series relays have contacts that are force-guided and mechanically-linked conforming to EN61810-1 and EN50205. The FGR-M1 Series is easily installed and may be mounted on 35 mm DIN rail or surface mounted with two screws, with a full range of 4-pole and 6-pole contact configurations.

		Scientific Technologies, Inc. Introduces Safety Limit Interlock Switch - 02/16/06 The SL Series offers a large selection of actuator configurations with either plastic or die-cast housings to satisfy most application requirements. A rotatable head provides four actuator mounting positions for versatile installation. A NEMA 4 enclosure allows these switches to withstand water washdown cleaning.
