With the addition of an IR point sensor to measure the temperature on the uncoated side of the glass where the emissivity is both known and significantly higher, the GS110 can automatically correct the thermal image and provide a more accurate result.
Raytek Enhances Infrared Thermometer With Remote-Controlled Focusing

Marathon MM Series Infrared (IR) Thermometer has an optional motorized, remote-controlled variable target focus capability. This enables users to adjust the focus either by push-button at the rear of the instrument, or remotely via an RS232/RS485 PC connection, where adjustments can be seen real-time through video.
