		APC shareholders approve merger with Schneider Electric - 01/17/07 American Power Conversion shareholders approved the merger of APC with a wholly-owned subsidiary of Schneider Electric. As previously announced on October 30, 2006, APC and Schneider Electric entered into an agreement and plan of merger which provides, among other things, for each share of APC common stock to be converted to the right to receive $31.00 in cash.

		Schneider Electric donates $7 million to help rebuild Gulf region - 01/15/07 More than 200 Square D/Schneider Electric business leaders will work alongside Gautier, Miss., residents Jan. 30 to build houses and community spaces for one of Habitat for Humanity’s largest corporate site builds. 		Schneider Electric sets up partnership in China for Low Voltage products - 12/18/06 This Joint-Venture, dedicated to the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of Low Voltage products, will be named Delixi Electric and incorporated in Wenzhou (Zhejiang Province) as soon as the conditions, precedent and regulatory approvals are satisfied. Schneider Electric will own a 50% interest in the company while Delixi Group will hold the other 50%.

		Schneider Electric acquires American Power Conversion - 10/30/06 Schneider Electric will acquire all outstanding shares of APC for an enterprise value of approximately US$5.5 billion. The price per share is US$31 and will be paid in cash for a total amount of approximately US$6.1 billion. APC, which is a global leader of critical power with approximately US$2 billion in sales in 2005 and 7,600 employees, has enjoyed 12 consecutive quarters of double digit sales growth. APC has 52% of its sales in the US, 30% in Europe and 18% in Asia where it has a strong manufacturing base.

		Schneider Electric's third-quarter 2006 sales up 15.3% - 10/24/06 Sales for the third quarter of 2006 totaled €3,480 million, up 15.3% from the year-earlier period. Acquisitions (primarily Juno Lighting, BEI Technologies, Merten and Clipsal Asia) contributed €216 million, or 7.1% of growth for the period.

		Square D announces enclosed drive adjustable-speed controller - 10/03/06 M-Flex enclosed drive motor controllers are available in Type 1 general purpose or Type 12/12K drip- and dust-proof environmental enclosures in integrated or barriered designs.
