		Weidmuller announces adjustable DC power supplies - 01/09/07 Direct Current (DC) power supplies include four adjustable voltage models: a 25W 5VDC 5A unit, a 48W 12VDC 4A unit, a 48W 24VDC 2A unit, and a 48W 48VDC 1A unit. All units have regulatory approvals, including UL 508, cRUus 60950, GSA, and CE.

		Weidmuller revamps LED indication fuse terminals - 01/02/07 Upgrades include a BFI (Blown Fuse Indicator) circuit, which uses a high efficiency LED that emits a bright signal throughout a complete voltage range. Because of the wide voltage range of the BFI circuits, 16 part numbers now make up what was once represented by 40. This consolidation translates to fewer items end users will have to specify due to various circuits.

		Weidmuller introduces line of IP67 rated interface devices - 11/30/06 JACKPAC modules can be installed directly on the machine, in the production plant, conveyor system, or within a process, without requiring additional enclosure. The modules include Form C Relay Output, Pulse Stretching Modules, Over-Voltage Protection Modules, and Signal Isolators.

		Weidmuller announces secure Industrial Ethernet Routers - 11/09/06 Four industrial Ethernet routers provide secure access to the Internet via an integrated analog or ISDN modem that provides global application options. Access to networks behind the routers is granted to authorized users only, making it possible to conceal connected networks or machines behind a single IP address. New routers include two industrial access routers and two mini routers.

		Weidmuller announces Sensor wiring interfaces - 10/26/06 Active Sensor Actuator Interfaces (SAIs) provide users with greater levels of wiring flexibility for achieving modular and decentralized process control in automation applications. The Active SAIs are available in IP 67 housings and support all industry network protocols including Profibus, DeviceNet and CANopen, as well as Ethernet, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET and Modbus/TCP.

		Weidmuller's Disconnect Terminal reduces maintenance time - 09/14/06 Continuity checks, voltage testing and power distribution are quick and easy with Weidmuller's WTR 2.5 disconnect terminal. This disconnect terminal now accepts pluggable jumpers, which will save significant time in installation and maintenance. Rather than screwing jumpers to each terminal block, you can quickly plug multiple poles in place with a simple press to the back of the insulation sleeve.

		Weidmuller announces plug-in terminal blocks for 10AWG conductors - 09/13/06 WeiCoS ZT4/2AN/1 and ZTPE4/2AN/1 now include 4mm sq. models that will handle up to 10AWG conductors. The device combines both terminal block and plug-in connection technology that results in an efficient, modular, functionally flexible, and manufacturer-independent wiring system.

		New Weidmuller Ring-lug terminal blocks fit current transformer applications - 08/17/06 Ring-lug terminal block series is ideally suited for use in current transformer and standard wire termination applications for industries such as power generation, utilities and semiconductor manufacturing. The new ring-lug terminal blocks offer a finger-safe design, which eliminates the need for standard or customized dust cover, and the hinged shroud allows easy and safe wiring.

		Weidmuller’s new P Series push-in terminal blocks cut costs for design, inventory and installation - 07/10/06 As the pressure to trim production costs while ensuring product quality continues, controls manufacturers are looking for ways to accomplish these goals in order to maintain their competitiveness and improve efficiencies. Reductions in design time, labor and inventory costs are just a few of the ways companies can reduce their overall manufacturing costs.

		Weidmuller Introduces Dual Disconnect Test Terminal Blocks - 05/01/06 WTR dual-connection disconnect test terminal blocks provide companies in the process industry the ability to easily perform measurement and testing for quick failure detection. The terminals feature screw connection technology and are available in two versions: WTR 4/ZR-Branch, or WTR 4/ZZ-dual connections on both sides. These space-saving designs may eliminate the need for a second terminal block with jumper accessory.

		Weidmuller Simplifies Circuit Testing with New Disconnect Test Terminal Blocks - 04/17/06 WTL 4/2 STB Disconnect Test terminal block makes it possible to open the busbar in the terminal and for the adapter to make contact with a single action. This make-before-break design assures continuous operation of the circuit during the test procedure. With the WTL 4/2 STB, the order in which disconnect and contact is made is simply determined by the length of the color-coded plastic lug on the test adapters.

		Weidmuller’s Rectangular Connectors work in corrosive environments - 04/13/06 RockStar rectangular connectors have a die-cast aluminum housing with a stainless-steel locking system as standard, a high-quality multi-layered surface sealing, and laser-etched identification marking. With these standard features, the housings are suitable for corrosive environments and are ideal for industrial applications.

		Weidmuller Introduces Copper/Fiber Managed Industrial Ethernet Switches - 02/20/06 Equipped with a full range of standard features, these 8-, 16- and 24-port copper/fiber Managed Ethernet switches provide Ethernet network management, and visibility into industrial Ethernet networks by generating statistics such as data rate, throughput, and the number of error frames being received. This status information is available through a web browser.

		New Weidmuller Terminal Block provides two types of connections - 01/31/06 Weidmuller’s new hybrid dual level terminal block provides two separate channels that offer two distinct termination technologies in one compact footprint – a timesaving insulation displacement connection (IDC) and the proven screw clamp connection.
