ISA'S International Instrumentation Symposium to be held in Tulsa
ISA's International Instrumentation Symposium will be held 30 April - 3 May at the Doubletree Hotel, Warren Place, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It includes technical information and training in the traditional areas of measurements/sensors, instrumentation systems, data and advanced system/sensor technology.
 
ISA's Analysis Division Symposia to be held in Houston, Texas
The ISA Analysis Division will host its 2007 symposium at the Marriott Hotel Houston Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas, 15-19 April. The theme for this event, "Process Control and Compliance: Analytical Solutions," covers process analysis topics ranging from methods and applications to system operation and maintenance.

Emerson automates 4,000-MW ultra-supercritical power plant in China  - 02/28/07
Emerson won a $7 million contract to automate the four unit, 4,000-MW, coal-fired plant in April 2005. The plant, which is owned by Huaneng Power International, is the first 1,000-MW-per-unit power plant in China, as well as the country’s first to use ultra-supercritical technologies. Two of the four units recently went on line.
