Softing and Industrial Automation Networks partner on installations
January 22, 2013 - Softing and Industrial Automation Networks will partner on installations, where Industrial Automation Networks will assist Softing's customers in deploying products in their plants. ..
Industrial Automation Networks provides field level network services that help global clients to seamlessly connect their field devices and controllers. Industrial Automation Networks technology expertise includes, but is not limited to FOUNDATION Fieldbus, PROFIBUS PA, and PROFIBUS DP.
Fieldbus and industrial Ethernet networks are becoming more prevalent in the industrial environment but unfortunately the skills necessary to implement the technology have not kept pace with either its introduction or scale of acceptance. Industrial Automation Networks has been created to fill the gap in knowledge and expertise in this area for all phases of a project life cycle.
“Softing has been in the fieldbus business for more than 25 years. During this time, we actively shaped open technology standards and established ourselves as the world leader for industrial network solutions,” said Wolfgang Langer, Softing North America’s Director of Marketing. “We are very excited and proud to announce our partnership with Industrial Automation Networks. Ian Verhappen, Director of Industrial Automation Networks, is very familiar with our technology and will provide outstanding services to customers. Ian Verhappen is a world-class expert and I congratulate him to his recent induction to the Process Automation Hall of Fame."
“Industrial Automation Network has a long history of seeking out unique solutions that help our customers achieve competitive advantages.” said Ian Verhappen, Director Industrial Automation Network, Inc. “I have been working with the quality products developed by Softing for many years and this opportunity to help them and their clients make more effective use of these tools is an exciting opportunity for both our companies to implement these exciting technologies to solve some of the problems faced by our industry.”
