ABB brochure covers Coriolis mass flowmeters
January 18, 2011 - Eight-page full-color brochure describes the CoriolisMaster series of mass flowmeters from ABB. The brochure suggests applications in such industries as chemical and petrochemical; food, beverage, and pharmaceutical; power; water and wastewater; and pulp and paper. As noted, the CoriolisMaster series accurately measures mass and volume flow, density, concentration, and temperature. Diameter sizes in the series range from 1/16 to 6 inches.

According to the brochure, the CoriolisMaster product stands out for its unique S-design that can be easily installed in any position and orientation where self draining is required. It offers a strong signal level as well as optimized electronics and diagnostics. It's also insensitive to external vibrations and gas content. The universal modular remote or integral transmitter for the series can be connected to all sensor sizes. The brochure notes that the universal explosion proof design provides the best temperature classes on the market plus a variety of international approvals. Communications include HART, Foundation Fieldbus, and Profibus. The brochure concludes by detailing applications in the various industries mentioned above.

ABB is a leader in power and automation technologies that enable utility and industry customers to improve their performance while lowering environmental impact. The ABB Group of companies operates in around 100 countries and employs about 107,000 people.
