| ABS approval extended to the WAGO I/O System | ||

 Germantown, WI – August 24, 2006 - WAGO Corporation is pleased to announce the extension of ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) Type Approval for their 750-841 Series Ethernet enabled programmable controller and the 758 Series Industrial PC – among other I/O modules. This approval certifies WAGO’s I/O and controller products for use in ABS class ships and facilities in control and monitoring applications. “We are extremely proud of this certification, “said Mark DeCramer, Product Manager for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM. “Not only does this help support our ship building and off-shore platform customers, as well as their suppliers, but all of our customers.” DeCramer explains, “Having passed the stringent ABS approval, is a testament of the durability and reliability of our products. As you can probably imagine, a ships environment can be quite harsh.” In the category of I/O and controllers, WAGO offers 12 fieldbus couplers, 11 programmable controllers, 3 industrial PCs, and 89 I/O modules with ABS Type Approval. In addition to these products, they also offer ABS approved terminal blocks, power supplies, and other electronics. Other international marine approvals such as Germanischer Lloyd, De Norske Veritas, Lloyds Register, Registro Italiano Navale, and Bereau Veritas are also available for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM.
