Acrosser launches new Intel Pentium M Embedded Systems for rugged environments

August 8, 2006 - Acrosser Technology, Co., LTD today announces the release of AR-ES0831 series, the Embedded Systems designed for space critical applications requiring extreme reliability and ruggedness in either low power consumption fanless operation or with powerful computing capabilities with flexible I/O configuration and long product life support.

AR-ES0831 series utilizes fanless Low Power consumption Intel Celeron M up to 1GHz or a high performance Intel Pentium M Processor, equipped with two 10/100 LAN, two USB, four serial communication ports, audio port, and all are enclosed in a rugged and light weight compact aluminum chassis. In addition, a licensed Microsoft Windows XP Embedded OS image can be ported as option.

AR-ES0831 is a perfect platform to give developers a quick, simplified, and all-in-one solution for industrial and embedded applications such as POS/Kiosk, environmental monitoring, ticketing, medical, automotive, and more. Moreover, Acrosser offers a base AR-ES0831 combined with tailored service, such as customized front/rear I/O faceplate, colors, and dimension.
