(Cincinnati, Ohio – 05/26/2006) - The eAutomation Group of Advantech introduces the ADAM-6520L, a 5-port industrial 10/100 Mbps unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch. A solid industrial-grade design assures reliable operation in plant floor and machine applications. The ADAM-6520L supports a wide power input range of +10~30 VDC via a terminal block and 3,000 VDC surge protection ensures that voltage strikes are no concern. The wide temperature range of -10~70°C allows proper function in harsh environments. Six diagnostic LED indicators make troubleshooting of any collisions, link status, power failure, and data integrity errors easy and immediate. Other features include flexible mounting (DIN-rail, piggy-back stack, and panel), embedded switch controller, full/half duplex flow control and automatic MDI/MDI-X detection. The ADAM-6520L starts at $105.
