.jpg) February 5, 2009 - The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces UNO-3282, a new high performance embedded automation computer with fanless, diskless, and cable-less design. The UNO-3282 comes with a Core 2 Duo CPU, 1 x PCI slot, and 1 x PCI Express. Moreover, a user-replaceable kit is included which can replace the PCI Express/PCI slot combination with two standard PCI slots. This combination of versatile functionality allows the UNO-3282 to fulfill a wide variety of applications in wide-ranging sectors like Machine Automation, Production Automation, Factory Automation and Intelligent Transportation systems. With 2 x Gigabit LAN ports, 4 x serial ports, 4 x USB, VGA, DVI-D, PCI Express, and a PCI slot, the UNO-3282 can easily connect multiple peripheral devices without extra wiring while extending I/O, vision and audio functions for different field requests. The UNO-3282’s 1.5 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU with 1 GB DDRII RAM brings high-performance to automation control tasks. Benefited by Advantech’s strong driver support, customers can easily develop applications on Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Linux or Embedded OS such as Windows XP Embedded and Embedded Linux and install them on internal CF or 2.5” hard drive.
