August 30, 2011 - The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech launches the BEMG-4110, 4220, 4221, and 4222 fanless energy data concentrators. To manage the energy consumption from a large number energy meters on a campus or group of buildings, these energy data concentrators, with their wide variety of interfaces, include Advantech’s WinCE WebAccess. This built-in feature can be configured and maintained via a web browser. The driver allows the building devices data to be converted to standard Modbus TCP or BACnet IP for the host computer to read.
They are designed for the harshest environments with an operating temperature range of -10~60°C, and an extended operating temperature range of -10~70°C, making them ideal for managing the power needs of buildings wherever they may be.
They have a pre-installed 1 GB CompactFlash card, which is used for storing the systems’ WindowsCE operating system, Advantech’s WinCE WebAccess configuration software, and the data logs. This feature provides data storage in environments where network communication is unreliable. Once the networks reestablish communication, the system will register the start time of the data lost and the data will be recovered to the database. The Advantech WinCE WebAccess SCADA tool supports up to 600 tags.
