August 28, 2011 - The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech launches a four port (RS-232/422/485) communication module. The APAX-5570 controller series can attach two APAX-5090P modules, therefore expanding the number of communication ports to eight.
The serial ports of the APAX-5090P are industrial grade connectors with high isolation protection, making it ideal for use in mission critical environments. It supports a general communication port library and can be programmed using Visual C++, .Net and KW thereby shortening project development time and making it compatible with PC-based solutions.
