September 15, 2011 - The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech upgraded the processing power of the IPPC-9150G to an Intel Atom N450 low energy power processor from an Intel Pentium 4 processor.
The new processor has the advantage of not only making it faster than before, but also makes it more cost effective and provides greater compatibility with applications.
Designed for the rigors of harsh industrial environments, the IPPC-9150G, with its toughened glass and aluminum bezel, is NEMA4/IP65 certified so it can be cleaned without fear of damage from chemical cleaners, oil and water. For further durability the IPPC-9150G also includes a stainless steel back panel.
The IPPC-9150G uses a 15” XGA LED backlit LCD and supports embedded software APIs and utilities which speeds up the development of applications and enhances computer security as well as power efficiency.
