September 8, 2011 - The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech announces two wide operating temperature range unmanaged Ethernet switches, the EKI-6528TI and the EKI-6528TPI.
The EKI-6528TI and EKI-6528TPI have passed EN50155 certification which enables them to withstand severe shock and vibration therefore, ensuring reliable transmission in moving vehicles. They also offer an auto bypass feature to ensure communication is not interrupted in the event of a power failure.
The EN50155 Ethernet Switch product family also includes three managed switches, the EKI-6558TI, EKI-6558TPI, and the EKI-6559TMI. The complete product line has been designed to transmit data for many applications such as video surveillance systems and carriage status monitors, on rail lines, subways, trams, or buses.
