| AREAL enhances TOPKAPI HMI/SCADA software | ||

September 24, 2007 - Version 5.0 of TOPKAPI MMI HMI software operates the process at the plant floor level: mimic screens drawn by a powerful graphic editor display the process state and carry out the operators' controls. TOPKAPI MMI uses its own applications, or loads from a central SCADA application the part related to the workshop it controls. The configuration tool is now free, and calculation functions have been widely extended. Global applications for the plant used by TOPKAPI SCADA software are distributed over the network, and locally loaded by TOPKAPI MMI stations; configuration changes are therefore performed in one central location without any local human operation. TOPKAPI Vision SCADA Software TOPKAPI Vision SCADA software is now provided with a new historical data manager; based on the latest Microsoft's data access technology in .net environment, this component is a major enhancement of TOPKAPI connectivity to corporate IT manufacturing systems. The new TOPKAPI version (V5.0) performs direct storage of historical data into the company DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySql, etc.), and displays logged events, should these events be originally recorded by a TOPKAPI request or by any third party application incorporated to the global Manufacturing Execution System (MES). |
