August 31, 2010 – As One Technologies announced that specialty chemical producer The HallStar Company will implement As One’s Catalyst suite of software products in its Chicago manufacturing facility starting in September as part of a production efficiency initiative. As One will implement Catalyst xM and Catalyst PDC, providing HallStar with the ability to fully automate batch execution and electronic batch record management as well as the ability to collect key manufacturing intelligence related to plant asset management. Catalyst xM will execute batch production recipes, manage unit operations and automate standard operating procedures that make up the batch manufacturing process. Catalyst PDC is being incorporated to capture key process indicators and production tracking information. Jay Mellen, As One’s executive vice president for business development, said, “We are thrilled to be working with the team at HallStar. This is a great opportunity to provide significant value to a key customer and demonstrate the flexibility and benefits of the Catalyst software suite in batch manufacturing.” Mellen continued, “One key Catalyst xM feature of particular interest is the ability to generate and store detailed workflow execution data.
