ASI announces SCB sliding link terminal blocks
May 22, 2007 - Carlisle, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect releases SCB line of sliding link terminal blocks for use in power generation applications such as shorting of current transformers (CT’s). These new terminal blocks are available in various configurations for opening circuits and for shunting with the use of accessories. They have a space-saving UL94V-0 polyamide insulated body, which eliminates the need for any special covers. The sliding link terminal blocks are rated at up to 800 volts and accept wires from 20 AWG to 8 AWG. All models within the SCB line offer universal mounting on both PR/DIN and PR/3 type rails. The SCB line also offers easy accessibility, thereby saving time during disconnection.

ASI is the first company to offer complete e-commerce capability for high quality interface and interconnect solutions. The data sheets, technical specifications and all pricing and availability can be found on the ASI website. A new easy-to-use selector guide is now available and all of the components can be ordered Direct Online with a saving of 20-50% by going to the company’s website.
