Automation Systems Interconnect, Inc. News
| ASI Introduces High Density Electromechanical Relay Package |
Automation Systems Interconnect Inc. (ASI) - Carlisle, PA, is pleased to announce new additions to the CK Series of industrial control relays. At only 6mm wide the CK series is the highest density relay package on the market that easily mounts to a DIN rail. The new CKR family features electromechanical relays in either a single or dual relay version The CKR relays are ideal for manufacturing automation equipment where space is at a premium in the panel and the application calls for at least a relay with a 5 amp rating. The CKR16 series provide a built-in replaceable contact protection fuse along with LED status indication and reverse polarity protection in a compact 6mm design. Very unique to this family of relays is the CKR25, which boasts 2 SPST(NO) 5 amp relays in a package that is only 6mm wide making it the highest density relay package on the market. All of the CKR electromechanical relay packages also offer AC/DC common negative or positive inputs. A significant cost-savings feature of the CKR family of relays is the use of PTC push-in jumpers. The PTC/CK/42 push in jumper is very low cost, easy to install and can be cut to any number of positions. This low-cost convenient jumper makes is simple to common inputs and outputs as necessary based on the application thereby further reducing installation costs. A solid-state relay version of the CK series, the CKS, comes in a single or dual relay in 6mm and is ideal for switching solenoids up to 1 amp. All relays are soldered in thereby making the unit impervious to shock and vibration problems. The CKR data sheets, technical specifications and all pricing and availability can be found on the ASI website. CKR relays can be ordered Direct Online with a saving of 20 - 50%.
