.jpg) May 15, 2007 - Carlisle, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect released its CBC series of terminal blocks and the low-cost easy bridge system. The CBC series was designed to address those applications where bridging of circuits is required for consecutive, alternate and numerous terminal blocks in one assembly. The CBC terminal blocks are manufactured with an UL94V-0 polyamide insulating body, which has an operating temperature range of -40 to +80°C. This unique family of terminal blocks is available in 4 sizes and will accept wires ranging from 24 AWG up to a 6 AWG. The bridging for the CBC series is accomplished with a comb type of bridge ranging from 2 to 50 positions, called the Easy Bridge System. The CBC terminal block has been designed to accept this PTC comb bridge in two separate locations thereby making it easy to install the bridges in such a way to skip over terminal blocks or to alternate bridge the circuits. Once the bridge is installed it is protected or insulated in the terminal block housing. The top of the bridge has been designed with a slot so that a screwdriver can be inserted for easy removal The new CBC terminal blocks and PTC Easy Bridge System can be ordered as individual items and assembled by the customer or they can be ordered as a complete assembly from ASI. Approvals for the CBC terminal blocks include UL, cUL and KEMA. |
