ASI releases Double Level Spring Clamp Terminal Block
April 10, 2007 - Carlisle, Pa - Automation Systems Interconnect released its double level spring clamp to pluggable terminal blocks. The modular double level DIN rail terminal block from ASI features the quick and easy spring clamp connection on one side and an industry standard pluggable terminal block on the opposite side of the block.

The individual terminal blocks can be mounted beside each other in groups from 2 to 24 positions so that the pluggable terminal blocks can be inserted at either the lower or the upper level in an equal number of positions. Since the terminal blocks are angled, the wiring on the spring clamp side is easy and readily accessible. This same feature makes access to the upper and lower plug easy for the installer on the plug side of the terminal block.

The spring clamp is rated for up to a 26-14 AWG wire. The plugs are available in several different wire and screw access options. Labeling for the terminal blocks is carried out with a snap in marker that conveniently mounts to the top of the terminal block for easy visual recognition of the circuit.
