January 17, 2012 - Automation Systems Interconnect announces CBD Series of Terminal Blocks in gray. The CBD Series is manufactured with an UL94V-0 polyamide insulating body, which has an operating temperature range of –40 to +80 °C. The metal bodies are made with a nickel-plated copper alloy thereby providing excellent protection against corrosion. Max current acceptance for the CBD Terminal Block line ranges up to 250 amps depending on the size. The complete series consists of eight different sizes that you may choose from. All sizes feature; reduced overall dimension, superior effective current carrying capacity, very low contact resistance of the resulting connection, excellent quality materials and great reliability.
The CBD line features screw connection on both sides, which is indirect and anti-loosening. The tightening of screws is easily accessible. Other functions of the CBD line include the possibilities to; create a sliding link (either permanent or switchable) between two adjoining terminal blocks, create a multiple commoning bar connection between several adjoining terminal blocks, or insert a socket for a test plug and a wide range of labeling accessories.
