 Taipei, Taiwan, July 3, 2007- AXIOMTEK released its PICMG 1.0 Single Board Computer, the SBC81203. This full-size SBC supports LGA775 socket Intel Core2 Duo, Pentium D, Pentium 4, and Celeron D processors with 533/800/1066MHz front side bus and features the Intel 945G+ICH7R express chipset to fit the multiple computing system applications for today's demanding pace, such as DSA (Digital Signage Appliance), DVR (Digital Video Recorder), gaming machine and more. “Utilizing a mainstream Intel Dual-Core processor, the SBC81203 delivers higher performance and more effective computing power over previous single board computers,” said Nelson Lu, Product Manager of AXIOMTEK’s Industrial PC division. “Beside, the Intel 945G express chipset ensures the graphics quality. This single board computer is specially suited for the solutions which need more effective computing and excellent graphics performance.” To improve overall system performance, the SBC81203 supports high bandwidth dual-channel DDR2 533/667 up to 4GB memory increasing bandwidth and improving overall system performance. The new Intel GMA 950 graphics core is built into the Intel 945G chipset which delivers powerful graphics performance and excellent visual quality, and the onboard Realtek ALC203 Audio codec brings great multi-media environments. Moreover, this PICMG 1.0 Single Board Computer provides two high performance PCI Express-based 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports. To meet a wide range of application needs, the SBC81203 supports four Serial ATA high-speed data transferring at up to 3 GB/s for improved data access. The onboard Winbond 83627HG-AW Super I/O chipset supports RS-232/422/485 and RS-232 serial ports. Additionally, the SBC81203 is compatible with varied embedded operating systems including Microsoft Windows XP Embedded and Windows 2000 operating systems, as well as Linux. Other features include six high-speed USB 2.0 ports (2 ports through I/O bracket & 4 ports by pin-header), RAID 0/1/5 and Watchdog Timer.
