| AXIOMTEK announces SHB211 half-size CPU Card | ||

.jpg) April 29, 2009- AXIOMTEK today announced an extreme performance PICMG 1.3 half-size CPU card, the SHB211, built with the new Intel GM45 and ICH9M chipsets and supports a 45nm Intel Core2 Duo processor with a 667/800/1066 MHz FSB. Powered by the Mobile Intel GM45 Express chipset with integrated Mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD, the SHB211 offers excellent 3D graphics and dual-view capability, and supports numerous display output options including CRT, LVDS, and DisplayPort. The PICMG 1.3 specification brings advantages of PCI Express to this half-size CPU card that offers four PCIe x1 or one PCIe x4, and one PCIe x16 routed to the backplane. The SHB211 is specially suited for DVR, digital security surveillance, visual inspection instruments, and video server. The SHB211 supports DualView display and has maximum video memory of up to 256MB by sharing the system memory. Two dual-channel DDR3 SO-DIMM SDRAM sockets support up to 8GB system memory. To satisfy increasing demands for data transfer speed, the PICMG 1.3 half size slot CPU board provides six USB 2.0 ports and two serial ATA ports integrated RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 function (optional with ICH9M-E only) with transfer rates up to 3Gb/s. Other onboard I/O features include two COM ports, Dual Gigabit LAN, HD audio, and CompactFlash for SSD storage devices. With LPC I/O integrated, the SHB211 provides reliable operation and non-stop capability by watchdog timer, as well as SMART FAN feature which controls the fan speed to keep the temperature in a specified range. Besides, Windows Vista, Windows XP embedded, and Linux are all supported. The SHB211 is fully compatible with AXIOMTEK's PICMG 1.3 half-size backplanes, the HAB101, HAB205, HAB206 and HAB208, and we also have industrial enclosures, the AX60530, AX6052, AX60552, AX60551, and AX60501, to house the SHB211 and any customer's industrial integrations flexibly. The PICMG 1.3 half-size CPU card is RoHS compliant and will be available around early June, 2009.
