| Balluff introduces CC-Link machine mount I/O | ||

September 19, 2010 - Balluff’s networking product line now includes a full I/O and RFID connectivity solution for a CC-Link fieldbus network. Balluff offers a full I/O solution, which includes heavy duty machine mount I/O modules, supporting cordsets, and connectivity accessories. Most CC-Link I/O networks are run out of control cabinets. Typically, IP20 I/O modules reside in costly and bulky enclosures. Due to the need of terminating all I/O points, these solutions are very costly and labor intensive. This can be simplified by using Balluff IP67 CC-Link I/O modules and supporting cordsets by placing the modules near the concentration of sensors and actuators. The smaller footprint and ease of setup will reduce installation material costs and labor, as well as decrease maintenance troubleshooting and repairs. Balluff CC-Link Product Features: I/O Module Cordsets and Accessories RFID CC-Link is the most dominant and fastest growing fieldbus technology in Asia, and is quickly gaining popularity in the US. The open network is supported by the global CC-Link partner association CLPA, which comprises more than 1000 companies. CC-Link is a standardized fieldbus designed to integrate different automation components from a wide range of providers. Balluff offers a full range of other networking products, including: DeviceNet, Profibus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and IO-Link. |
