| Baumer releases ED753 Depth Gauge | ||
|
||
Aarhus/Staffanstorp/Swindon, April 14, 2008. ED753 hydrostatic pressure transmitter is simply inserted into the liquid via a cable, where it releases an output signal analogue to the pressure, respectively level, of the liquid in which the pressure transmitter is submerged. The ED753 is a piezo-resistive pressure transmitter with a stainless steel housing and therefore very resistant against aggressive substances. However, since the device is thin and short, it is suitable especially for applications with very limited space and fits in 1 pipes often used for the guiding and protection of transmitters. The ED753 is provided with all the advantages of the ED75X series. The housing has been designed according to protection class IP 68. The ventilation is realised by a tube integrated in the cable, enabling the measuring device to adjust to the ambient pressure. The measuring range reaches from 600 mbar to 20 bar. The accuracy has been designed for most standard applications, and the device has been optimised to offer an excellent value for money. Depth gauges are suitable for the level measurement of any liquids. The application is very easy as no special installations like welded sleeves are needed and no interventions or modifications at the tank are necessary. |
