| Baumer releases TE2 Temperature sensor and transmitter | ||

 Aarhus/Staffanstorp/Swindon, February 1, 2008. - Baumer offers a compact temperature sensor system which is available with a built-in transmitter. The TE2 can be configured individually according to customer needs. It can be supplied with a variety of industrial and hygienic process connections. The TE2 range has a stainless steel case with a built-in plug. All models are available with an integrated, configurable temperature transmitter with 4 to 20 mA output that can be configured with the FlexProgrammer 9701. Due to the great variety of process connections, the TE2 can be used in the industrial area like chemical engineering, water treatment or energy management, as well as for the pharmaceutical industry or the food and beverage industry. The flexibility of the system offers a wide range of further configuration possibilities, such as fast response sensor tips for accurate and quick measurements of process temperatures: Standard DIN A or B, single or double elements connected via 2- or 4-wires can be supplied according to customer request. Additionally, customers can specify the accuracy of the sensor element, an optional cooling neck, the electrical connections and the sensor tube lengths. Special certificates are available on request. |
