| Baumer introduces SX Cameras with Kodak CCD sensor | ||

November 29, 2009 - For industrial vision applications requiring 1 to 2 megapixel resolutions at frame rates up to 120 fps, Baumer introduced the SX Cameras that feature Kodaks progressive scan, interline CCD image sensors with Quad-Tap technology. Offering resolutions of 1024 x 1024 pixels, the one megapixel camera can achieve speeds of 120 fps depending upon the number of output taps used. The two megapixel camera offers horizontal and vertical resolutions of 1600 x 1200 pixels respectively, and can achieve speeds up to 68 fps. All SX Cameras are compact -- measuring just 52 x 52 x 54 mm, and feature robust electronics that withstand a range of application environments. The digital interface for Baumer SX Cameras is CameraLink Base. This industrial interface provides high throughput of data with little latency time. To simplify the integration of these cameras into existing operating software, Baumer provides a modern SDK containing Baumer-GAPI a generic API, many code examples, and programming documentation. The Baumer Group is a leading international manufacturer of sensors and system solutions for factory and process automation. In 2009 the innovative family-owned company employs about 2,000 people worldwide in 35 locations and 18 countries. The long lasting success is built on high customer focus as well as the innovative and diversified product range of the five product segments Sensor Solutions, Motion Control, Vision Technologies, Process Instrumentation, and Gluing Systems. |
