October 25, 2006 - RICHMOND, IN - Belden has added two new cables to its extensive line of IndustrialTuff DeviceBus cables for use in ODVA DeviceNet industrial networking environments. The new cables - Product No. 1345F and 1346F - featuring TPE jackets and low temperature performance, provide added flexibility. Both cables offer excellent weld splatter, oil, solvent and abrasion resistance in harsh industrial environments. In addition, Belden has added new Red jackets to several of its DeviceBus cable codes to designate DeviceNet safety. The entire family of Belden DeviceBus products offer data and power functionality in a single cable for reduced cabling and installation costs. Depending on the application, the user can choose from an assortment of DeviceBus cables, which are typically designated as either Class 1 (600V) or Class 2 (300V), and Thick, Thin, Mid or Flat. They can be used for either trunk or drop applications, depending on the system speed and overall end-to-end distance. Some significant features of various Belden DeviceBus cables include: for extremely harsh environments. About Belden Belden is a leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of signal transmission products for data networking and a wide range of specialty electronics markets including entertainment, industrial, security and aerospace applications.
