Berger Lahr offers a Highly Functional Motor, Drive and Controller in a Small Integrated Package. The IcLA (Integrated closed loop Actuator) combines a motor, drive electronics, I/O and robust networking into one highly integrated product. IcLA compact drives have the power and positioning electronics attached to the motor. Integration of the electronic system results in comprehensive benefits: Dramatic savings can be realised since you do not need a control cabinet and an air conditioning system for the electronics. You need considerably less wiring because only a power supply and a field bus cable are required to connect the compact drives. Available in Servo, Stepper and Electronic Commutated motor designs, the IcLA is the perfect solution for the most demanding OEM applications including: packaging, printing and traverse marking. The different IcLA versions feature everything you need. Two different connection options are available: printed circuit board connectors, which are ideal for series machines and cable looms, or industrial connectors for special machines and small batch sizes. IcLA Servo Motors feature RS485, Profibus, or CANopen connectivity for high performance multi-drop applications. IcLA Stepper Motors feature pulse/direction input for precise positioning and constant velocity.
