Binder announces Series 768 M8 Euro-style shielded connectors
January 2, 2008 - Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA announces the addition of shielded connectors with screw termination to the Series 768 M8 Euro-style connectors. The new connectors allow for shielded connections protecting analog and sensitive signals from EMI interference in industrial Ethernet or Fieldbus networks.

The shielding of the 768 series connector is simplified with the use of an iris-shaped spring. While mated the connectors meet an IP67 rating. Male and female cable connectors are available with 3 or 4 gold-plated contacts supporting up to 4 amps. The field-attachable connectors accept cables with an outer diameter ranging from 3.5 to 5.5mm.

Binder-USA, LP is a subsidiary of Franz Binder GmbH & Co., a German-based designer and manufacturer of circular connectors and cordsets for use in industrial environments including factory automation, process control, and medical technology applications.
