Binder-USA adapts the Iris Spring for EMI Shielding
January 23, 2008 - Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA introduces iris spring shielding technology to many of its industrial network and sensor connectors. This new addition is an effective and simple way to protect equipment from EMI (electromagnetic interference).

The iris spring technology allows for an easy and quick connection of the cable shield to the connector housing. Industrial applications with networking requirements can now be assured their connectors have EMI protection. Binder-USA’s M12 connectors, Series 713, 715 and 825, are offered with this new shielding technology.

Binder-USA, LP is a subsidiary of Franz Binder GmbH & Co., a German-based designer and manufacturer of circular connectors and cordsets for use in industrial environments including factory automation, process control, and medical technology applications.
