September 20, 2007 - Camarillo, CA Binder-USA recently enhanced their 702 & 712 series connector product lines with the addition of a newly-designed, M9 threaded feed-through connector. The new feed-through adapter maintains a secure, sealed connection through a panel allowing cables to be connected on either side. Binders feed-through adapter features an extremely rugged all-metal design with an M16x1.5 threaded barrel for easy panel mounting. The feed-through adapter is currently available with 5 gold plated contacts, each able to support up to 3 Amps. Other contact configurations (up to 8 poles) are available. The protection rating of IP67 is achieved at both the panel and mating area on each side of the adapter through the use of o-rings. The feed-through adapter is fully compatible (intermateable & interchangeable) with Binders entire M9 product range including the 702 & 712 series connectors. Binder-USA, LP is a subsidiary of Franz Binder GmbH & Co., a German based designer and manufacturer of circular connectors and cordsets for use in industrial environments including factory automation, process control, and medical technology applications. |
