B&R Automation Introduces New Hand-held Machine Operator Panel

Hand-held panel that can be customized to your needs! Every machine application that uses a hand-held panel has usually slightly different requirements with regards to the hand-held unit. B&R specializes in customizing these panels to fit your machine application.

Features
In its standard version the B&R Hand-held panel is characterized by the following features:

CAN terminal with alphanumeric 4 x 20 LC display and 24 keys (12 numerical and 12 function keys)

E-stop button, and 2 enable buttons

Robust light-weight plastic housing

IP65 protection

Magnet hooks for simple mounting

Customized units available
Design is becoming increasingly more significant in today’s market environment. A uniform appearance is essential in representing the corporate identity. In the eyes of the user, this begins with their own custom HMI display unit.

B&R offers the development of customized display fronts with low minimum order quantities. Modification of the design of existing B&R standard display units like the B&R Hand-held panel is possible by e.g. integrating the customer’s logo, designing custom key labels, symbols and legend strips, and design according to customers’ color requirements. Upon special request B&R can also change the number of keys and their layout. Additionally, completely new designs of units in cooperation with B&R are possible.
