B&R introduces Panel PC 300 embedded PC
June 22, 2007 - B&R's Panel PC and Automation Panel work together to form the powerful Panel PC system, which provides an optimum automation environment especially when space is limited.

The Panel PC 300 expands the Automation Panel 900, making it an embedded PC based on a 500 MHz processor. With 256 MB SDRAM, Ethernet 10/100 and a serial interface, the Panel PC 300 is perfectly suited for applications in Windows CE and Windows XP embedded. The Automation Panel's on-board USB 2.0 interfaces are supported by the Panel PC 300.

The Panel PC 300 makes it possible for the user to also use the Automation Panel 900 for applications that do not require the computing power of an APC620. Of course, custom Automation Panels can also be operated with the Panel PC 300. The result is an especially flat Panel PC system that can easily be implemented in limited spaces. The Automation Panel 900 is available in a wide range of variations, including models with 10.4" VGA, 12.1" SVGA, 15" XGA, or 17"/19" SXGA resolution with touch screens and function/system keys. The Panel PC 300 was designed for operation without a fan. When used with the CompactFlash card, it functions without any rotating parts at all.

The Panel PC 300 proves once again that B&R's consistent strategy pays off with maximum modularity. The customer benefits from the perfect adaptability of the PC system to each application, completely integrated in a uniform and scalable range of products.
