MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN-(April 13, 2006)-Brady Corporation (NYSE: BRC) announces the ID PAL Labeling Tool is now available for only $99. The new price makes the portable ID PAL Labeling Tool an affordable addition to the toolboxes of datacomm installers, electrical contractors, maintenance crews, construction teams, and other industrial professionals. "We have reduced the list price from $139 to $99 to make the ID PAL affordable for everyone," said Anne Broda, Product Marketing Manager. "Now everyone can label their work professionally and cost effectively." The Brady ID PAL Labeling Tool is a handheld label printer designed for industrial labeling applications including: wire and cable marking, patch panels, control panel and component marking, workstation labels, maintenance and engineering, electrical data communications, field service and installation, storerooms and tool cribs, construction, laboratories, and asset and general identification. It makes professional labeling faster, simpler, and more cost-effective, increasing productivity and efficiency on the job. The ID PAL label printer creates clearly printed permanent labels, eliminating the problems caused by faded, smeared, poorly written, peeling, torn, or missing labels. The labels stick and stay stuck on tough surfaces, including wire, cable and highly textured surfaces. The labels also withstand exposure to solvents, chemicals, extreme temperatures, and abrasion. ID PAL labels stick better than ordinary labels because they were designed with a combination of advanced adhesives and high-quality materials that are a result of Brady's industry-leading research and development efforts and extensive testing. Brady Corporation has more than 90 years of experience in ideas and innovations for identification and labeling solutions. The Brady ID PAL Labeling Tool features non-smearing, thermal transfer printing; quick "drop-in" cartridge loading; multiple line printing; 10 preset lengths for wire marking; five font sizes; a built-in industrial cutter; and a 12-month warranty. The "smart cartridge" saves time by auto-sensing label type and size. The quick-loading cartridge also makes switching jobs fast and easy - simply drop, lock, and print.
