MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN - (October 4, 2006) - The IDXPERT v2.0 printer now offers PC-connect printing, slide-in strips for voice/data punch blocks and faceplates, 10 additional font sizes, and more. New printers begin shipping October 2, 2006, and a free web upgrade is available for current IDXPERT printers purchased prior to v2.0.

The IDXPERT v2.0 labeler gives users the label options they need for electrical identification, voice/datacomm labeling, MRO applications, facility/safety identification, and many other applications. With the IDXPERT v2.0 labeler, users have the following new capabilities:
  • Pre-formatted slide-in strips for punch blocks – make pre-formatted ID strips for 110-blocks, 66-blocks, BIX blocks, and patch panels. Print single strips or multiples at one time (serialized data carries over to the next strip).
  • lide-in Desi-Strip inserts for face plates – these 1.9” strips fit into recessed areas commonly found on network port face plates, offering more convenience and time savings for installers.
  • Print from a PC – create and print jobs from a PC using Brady’s LabelMark v3.1.1 Labeling Software (free web upgrade for current LabelMark owners).
  • More text editing flexibility – when label space is limited, choose from 21 font sizes, font autosizing, fine-tunable HR barcode fonts, and a narrow-width barcode option.

The Brady IDXPERT v2.0 Handheld Labeler offers sharp, 300 dpi printing that won’t smear, label auto-formatting, more than 100 label supplies, fast printing, and an easy-to-use interface. The IDXPERT printer is a great tool for wire and cable identification, terminal block identification, patch panel identification, small warning labels, equipment labels, small pipe-markers, and more.

Through January 31, 2007, users can save 10 percent on industry-specific IDXPERT Starter Kits. In these kits, the IDXPERT v2.0 labeler is bundled with the most commonly needed label supplies and software for electrical, voice/datacomm, or facility/MRO identification.
