.jpg) June 28, 2010 - Equipped with a robust stainless steel housing and 19" display, the IP65 Automation Panel 920 from B&R provides true ease of operation with a high degree of reliability, even under the toughest operating conditions. The one-of-a-kind sleek design made of robust, environmental-friendly materials makes the operating unit the ideal HMI system for industrial applications with high demands for hygiene. Highly resistant to contamination The stainless steel panel features a special hygienic design with a single-piece front foil that is free of gaps and seams which could collect dirt. This makes it the ideal solution for applications where the highest level of sterility and cleanliness are required, such as the foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals industries. Furthermore, a resistive touch sensor is used, which is easy to operate even when wearing thick gloves. High-quality IP66 protection on the front side and IP65 protection on the back allow quick and easy cleaning from all sides. Peripheral devices and storage media can be easily connected using the IP65-protected USB port.
