 September 4, 2008 - The Guide to Deltran Clutches & Brakes is now available from Danaher Motion. The guide details their complete family of Genuine Wrap Spring clutches and clutch/brake packages and accessories, friction clutches and brakes, and custom engineered clutch brake products. Two new products are featured - the Torque Feedback Device and Metric MCS/MBF series clutches and brakes. The Torque Feedback Device is engineered to provide position or velocity feedback to electric and steer-by-wire system operators with the “feel” of hydraulics. Metric MCS/MBF clutches and brakes are a new family of power-on friction clutches and brakes designed to be a competitively priced drop-in replacement for popular metric clutch and brake products. This comprehensive catalog also presents a product overview, selection charts by motion type or capability, operating and design principles, as well as illustrated application examples and an application worksheet to help users determine the optimum product for their particular application.
