March 15, 2007 - Control-See Software Solutions announces the immediate availability of U.C.ME-OPC™ version 6.02.

U.C.ME-OPC offers easy alarm import from iFix®, Cimplicity®, InTouch®, RS-View32® and Citect®

Alarm definition may be a long process. U.C.ME-OPC version 6.02 introduces new import mechanism that enables users to import alarms that are already defined in their SCADA/HMI software.

This functionality dramatically reduces the time required to define the alarms in U.C.ME-OPC! In one or two mouse clicks the import process is completed! In addition, this functionality reduces the chances for mistakes during a manual alarm definition process.

Key features in U.C.ME-OPC version 6.02:
  • Connectivity with multiple OPC servers or any SCADA that supports OPC or DDE server functionality
  • Alarm timeout to prevent false alarm and nuisance alarms
  • Operating as a Windows service or standard application
  • SMS alarm notification using predefined escalation procedure (Send an SMS, wait NN minutes for acknowledgment, if not received send the alarm to the next recipient)
  • Bidirectional SMS(Text messaging) allows customer to change or query field values remotely
  • Alarm Snapshot and analysis – in cell phone or your Internet explorer
  • Alarm notification using Phone, SMS, Email, Fax & Multimedia
  • Redundancy - Hot Backup support
  • Alarm notification using weekly shifts
  • Special days and holidays handling
