| Control Technology Corporation Introduces its Blue Fusion Line of Web Enabled Automation Controllers |
Servo and stepper control options introduced for CTC's Blue Fusion web enabled controller HOPKINTON, MA Control Technology Corp., a leading manufacturer of automation controllers, is releasing high-performance servo and stepper control modules for its new patented Blue Fusion line of web enabled automation controllers. In addition to providing integrated I/O and motion control, the 5100 Series Blue Fusion controllers also support todays most popular IT and Web standards, including HTTP, XML, SQL, SOAP, and SMTP, for true shop floor to top floor integration. With the introduction of motion control modules, Blue Fusion provides system engineers with greater ability to securely monitor or control motion applications via standard web browsers, cell phones, and even third-party XML, SQL-, or SOAP-savvy software applications such as customer relationship databases, ERP systems, or quality analysis tools. Blue Fusion Servo Modules The Blue Fusion servo modules provide multi-axis control for up to 6-1/2 axes (six full axes plus encoder input) per controller unit, position loop rate of 250 msec, and encoder feedback rate of 6 MHz with resolution of 1 count/sec. Blue Fusion servo modules also support electronic gearing and other advanced motion features. Blue Fusion Stepper Modules The Blue Fusion stepper modules support high-speed microstepping control with step rates of up to 1 MHz with a resolution of ±1 step/second. The module supports CTC's advanced servo command set to maximize stepper control capabilities. About Control Technology Corporation: Control Technology Corporation designs, manufactures and markets products that enable electronic automation devices to be controlled, configured or reprogrammed over the Internet and/or Intranets. CTCs automation controllers and software are used in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, including Web-based control, motion control, analog and digital I/O control, and remote data acquisition. CTCs headquarters are in Hopkinton, Massachusetts with regional technology centers in Wisconsin and California. Founded in 1975, CTC is a leader in web enabled automation and has been awarded numerous patents in this area. More information is available at www.ctc-control.com. |
