Creating Answers for Your Unique or Demanding Needs ST. LOUIS, October 27, 2006 Cooper Bussmann's Custom Product service draws on the company's 90+ years of experience in electrical safety and performance in product design and manufacturing. Services range from modifying an existing product to creating a new component or product. Cooper Bussmann Custom Products services include: design, prototype, test, manufacture and securing agency approvals to deliver a single-component, sub-assembly or a finished product. There are a lot of reasons we are called in on a project or product. Sometimes it is to improve functionality and utility. Sometimes it is to fit unique design needs. And sometimes it is to reduce labor and component costs, explained Tim Edwards, product manager custom, Cooper Bussmann. Cooper Bussmann Custom Products designs and manufactures products that integrate fuses, fuse holders and blocks, wire connection products, molded products and power distribution products. Every product or part modification can be tested in-house at the Cooper Bussmann Paul P. Gubany Center, which is a UL, ASTA and CSA accredited and ANCE designated facility. We know right away if the prototype works or not, because we have our own state-of-the-art testing capabilities. This saves time, enabling us to bring the best solutions to our customers and the market quickly, said Robert Everett, design engineer, cooper Bussmann.
