 SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jan. 29, 2008 -- COX Instruments launched a website (www.cox-instruments.com) offering expanded product and application information for its precision turbine flowmeters and related flow electronics. With extensive experience providing the most reliable turbine flowmeters on the market, COX Instruments continues to build on its ability to serve customers around the world. The new COX website features easy navigation and quick access to product data bulletins, manuals, contact information, and quote requests. Customers utilizing the new website can contact the COX Applications Engineering Department for assistance with proper system configuration and calibration for a wide range of fluid measurement requirements. COX Instruments has provided hundreds of thousands of quality turbine flowmeters to customers with demanding liquid and gas flow metering requirements. COX manufactures the flowmeter-of-choice for critical test and measurement applications and is the standard in the aerospace industry. As a preferred supplier, COX Instruments Precision Flowmeters are delivered within 2-4 weeks, pending calibration requirements. COX precision turbine meters provide a linear range from 15:1 on small meters, ranging up to 100:1 on two-inch meters, without the use of linearizing electronics. They also offer extended range calibrations in the repeatable flow range of the flowmeter, with repeatability of 0.02% of reading. This performance is achieved through a precision helical rotor design, proper use of rotor supports, and minimal bearing friction. COX Instruments utilizes the services of Flow Dynamics, Inc. to perform all of its flowmeter calibrations. Flow Dynamics was the first independent flow laboratory to receive the prestigious NVLAP accreditation from the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) in conformance with the standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). COX's NVLAP-certified flowmeter calibrations are fully traceable to NIST guidelines and also comply with ISO 17025, ISO 9002, ISO Guide 25, ANSI/NCSL Z-540, and MIL-STD-45662A.
