| Danaher Motion Introduces New Actuator for Sweeper Brush and Squeegee Applications |
.jpg) WOOD DALE, IL – Danaher Motion introduces Thomson Sweeper Head Lift Actuators. Available with optional IP56 protection, these actuators offer two, four or six inch stroke lengths with short retracted lengths, and provide 250 lbs/force at 1 in/sec or 500 lbs/force at 0.5 in/sec. This makes them an ideal solution for sweeper brush and squeegee applications. Sweeper Head Lift Actuators are available with 24 or 36 vdc motors, with integral auto reset thermal protectors. End-of-stroke limit switches directly control the motor, with adjustable extended limit switches and adjustable mid-stroke interlock switches available. Additional features include an internally restrained anti-rotation stainless steel extension tube, aluminum housing, powdered metal gearing and self-locking lead screw, and a load limiting ball detent clutch. An optional spring-loaded extension tube provides consistent scrubber head pressure.
