Available with unipolar or bipolar construction and sintered bronze sleeve bearings as standard, these motors feature a 7.5-degree step angle and provide up to 7.2 oz-in of holding torque. Windings can be optimized to satisfy specific application requirements. “These miniature step motors are specifically engineered for applications with a small mechanical envelope. As a result, they are well suited to medical equipment applications such as analyzers, pumps and scanners, as well as innumerable factory automation applications,” says Dave Beckstoffer, Product Manager. Ball bearings are optional, and custom versions of the 42S048 Can Stack Step Motor are available.
