November 30, 2010 - Datalogic settled all pending disputes with Sick and granted a license for the use of Datalogic’s technology to the German company in the field of stationary barcode scanners for industrial applications.

This agreement will allow Sick to continue using Datalogic’s technology, known as PackTrack, in its stationary scanners.

This technology, which is devised and patented by Datalogic, significantly increases the productivity of traditional sorting and tracking systems that require high reading performance. There are many applications, from postal services, couriers, distribution centres and airport baggage handling systems.
